Who runs it

Cavity Wall Insulation is an introduction service run by Bartlomiej Standa, a sole trader trading as Elevate Ireland.

What this site does

Cavity Wall Insulation shows the SEAI cavity wall insulation grant for your type of home and what the work typically costs after the grant. Grant amounts come from SEAI's own wall insulation page (checked 28 October 2026). Costs are SEAI's median installed costs for the first half of 2025, as published by saveonheat.ie, and two Irish companies' own price pages. Every figure is dated, says if VAT is included, and links to its source.

cavitywallinsulation.ie is not SEAI or a government body and does not award grants. SEAI decides who gets a grant and how much.

Who gets your request

One SEAI-registered contractor who covers your area. Your number isn't sent to a list of companies. The contractor rings you, checks the walls and gives you a price. Nothing is booked unless you say yes.

For the SEAI grant, the contractor must be on SEAI's register, and the grant must be approved before work starts. You can check any contractor on SEAI's register before you agree to anything.

What the grant check does

It asks three things: your home type, if the home was built and occupied before 31 December 2010, and if it had a wall insulation grant before. It then shows the SEAI grant for that home and what the work typically costs after the grant. It doesn't check your eligibility with SEAI. Only SEAI can approve a grant.

How we keep the figures right

We check SEAI's page and the cost sources and put the date on every figure. Older SEAI PDFs still show the lower pre-2026 grant amounts, so we don't use them. If a figure can't be confirmed at its source, we leave it out. The full method is on our editorial standards page.

What we don't do

We don't carry out insulation work, and we don't award, process or guarantee grants. You apply to SEAI for the grant, or your contractor helps you with the application.
